Challenges and Issues with PM Kisan Scheme
This Scheme is a great scheme to help farmers financially, but many farmers are facing some problems. Let’s understand them in simple words:
- NO Proper Complaint System
If a farmer faces a problem with registration or payment, there is no easy way to complaint. Many farmers don’t know where to go or ask for help.
- Some Farmers are Left Out
Only land-owning farmers get money. Farmers who do not have their own land, like tenant farmers or sharecroppers, do not get any benefits from this scheme.
- Payment Delays
Sometimes, money does not come on time. This happens due to mistakes in Aadhaar details or if the band account is not properly linked with Aadhaar. Because of this, may farmers wait for months without getting their Rs.2000/- installment.
- 6000/- is Not Enough
Now a days farming is very expensive so Farmers need money for seed, fertilizers and other farming work. Rs.6000/- per year is very small, and many farmers say this amount should be increased.
What Can Farmers Do?
- Check your details – Make sure your Aadhaar and Bank details are correct or not.
- Ask for help – Visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or call the PM Kisan helpline if you have issues.
- Raise your voice – Farmers Should request the government to increase financial support and include tenant farmers.
Farming is hard work, and schemes like PM Kisan should reach every farmer on time. The government should solve these problems to truly help all farmers.

Conclusion
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Scheme is not only a money support scheme to who are entitled farmers according to scheme rules, but it is a contribution towards the livelihood of so many farmers in the country. It is giving them the access to quality seeds, fertilizers, and modern agricultural methods by providing direct financial support to small and marginal farmers. It is enhancing farm production. But there are a few issues. Some farmers are not getting money on time, some are left behind unintentionally, and many think that Rs. 6000 a year is not sufficient to support the farming expenses. The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Scheme should be implemented in a more transparent manner to benefit everyone precisely and in time. Right policy or developmental measures can make the PM Kisan scheme a stronger force behind Indian agriculture, thereby stabilizing and self-dependent.
